About Me

Ever since I was a little girl, growing up in Southwestern Ontario, I knew that I was going to write a book and so, in 2018, I did just that and self published my memoir entitled Life Lessons I Learned From My DoG which is available on the shop page of this site. 

In 2021 I left my social work practice and signed up for a Scriptwriting class at Algonquin College in Ottawa.  I had tried my hand in Film and Media, in 2020 and produced, directed and wrote Water is Life the Documentary Series.  The boys that had joined me in the class quit 4 days before it was due and the co-ordinator let them!  I was devasted but pressed on.  The result is not perfect (holding the camera while doing a rant is challenging to say the least!) but I am really proud of what I accomplished, without any help.  Thanks to the Prescott OPP that rescued me when I left the forrest late and got lost.  You can find it on my youtube channel. 

Now I have found my niche in scriptwriting and wrote a Children's Series and Send Me An Angel, the Musical, something that has been on the shelf for 30 years is finally going to see the light of day.  My 10 minute Film, Arts For Life, delves into how Montessori Methods change the lives of those living with Azheimer's and Dementia. I am also wrote the play version.
